Ogaki castle
It was a rainy day from the morning, but it stopped in the afternoon. However, it was deeply overcast, and it was dark all day. I started from Aichi prefecture and entered Gifu prefecture. And it was evening, when I arrived at Ogaki city via Gifu city. Ogaki city is a castle town, so I went to Ogaki castle which is the symbol of the city. Still the sun hadn’t set, but it was as dark as night under thick pine trees. Even in this situation, I could see up the castle tower. The castle tower had white walls and was very beautiful. It was reconstructed after World War Two though, I felt the progress of the long history from the 16th century. I wanted a fine photograph with the beautiful castle, but I looked like a silhouette because it was difficult to optimize the lighting. In the silent pine forest, I heard cicada sounds as a message that the summer will finish soon.
