Remains “Isoma-Iwakage-Iseki”
On the morning of 15th (today) of July walking journey, before it had been hot, I left early before it got hot. I saw a small information board beside the road. The name of the remain was written on the board. The board had the distance of the destination written and it seemed very close. I was interested in the remains, so I decided to go there. I followed some information panels on a narrow road between some houses. Then I found a rock cavity under a cliff that was several meters high. There was a place where the rock protected me from the rain. There was an explanation panel where I could confirm that I was at the remain. According to the panel, the place is where some sarcophaguses were buried during 3rd century of the Kofun period. However, learning about the history was disrupted by the large amounts of mosquitoes flying around in the summer morning. I was bitten repeatedly on my arms and neck. I could see the mosquitoes flying in front of my eyes and I could hear the sound of their wings. I could not endure the small but relentless attacks. I set my tripod for camera quickly and took a photo without thinking about the life of ancient human. I left there hastily.
