Viewing Platform at ISO-BUE MISAKI Cape
I branched from trunk road, and I arrived the viewing platform on the edge of the cliff after about 10 minutes going up a narrow road. I could see a very beautiful sea from the viewing platform. According to the guide board, a lot of shellfishes were gotten in this sea area in the old days, and there were many AMA ladies. The AMA ladies were workers who dived into the bottom of the sea and brought the shellfish up to the boat on the surface of the sea. The AMA ladies breathed deeply making a sound like a whistle, when the AMA lady’s face went up the sea level. Therefore, this place was named “ISO-BUE”. “ISO” means rocky shore, and “BUE” means whistle. Suddenly, I heard my smartphone alerted me that a earthquake happened, when it was little dark. A big earthquake happened at “KII-SUIDO” opposite side of KII peninsula from here. I was seriously concerned that big rocks might fall on me or the cliff might break down to the sea. Here would be a very romantic place actually, I left the place quickly due to my being unromantic though.
